This is a research source which publically records features of real property and attached structures. Property records include the data which the county property appraiser’s office uses to determine the assessed value of each property. The assessed value is the taxable value of a property. Property Appraiser web sites are a good primary source when gathering information on properties being used in Comparable Market Analysis and those being marketed. RMLS uses Realist as the validating property records source due to uniformity in reporting across county jurisdictional boundaries. Realist can be accessed through MLXChange as part of a subscriber benefit.
