Realist Known Issues:
The Realist Application will not open when you click on it.
To access Realist, you must disable all pop up blockers, or configure your pop up blocker to allow pop ups on Realist. Click here for instructions on how to disable/configure pop up blockers. If you still have a problem after disabling your pop up blockers, open Internet Explorer (IE), from the main menu bar, click on Tools/Internet Options, and delete cookies, and temporary Internet files. After deleting cookies and files, click on the Advanced Tab, scroll down the list of items until you see “Enable third-party browser extensions”, uncheck that item, click Apply at the bottom of the panel, then OK. Close out of IE, re-open it and try accessing Realist again.
The Flood Map does not display.
Condominium flood maps are not displaying in Realist. First American is working on a fix.
The Realist Map Search appears not to work and does not retrieve any properties.
This error will occur, if the area you select on the map covers more than 1000 properties. The search stops without returning any records. It is deceiving because no warning message is displayed. First American is researching this issue.
Data on the Property Appraiser’s site is different than that shown on Realist.
In a few instances, you may notice that data on the Property Appraiser’s site differs from that shown on Realist. The Realist database lags behind the Property Appraiser’s site by approximately 2 weeks. Some of these data differences are due to this time lag. Other differences, not due to a time lag should be reported to the Help Desk (click to email).
When you click on the “View Listing” link, the following message appears:
“An error has occurred, please try again later”
The View Listing link does not work in Wyldfyre. The View Listing link will only work when accessing Realist through MLXchange.
